Come join this history department course for a day as we explore the history of Black Montreal. Overall, the course taught by Steven High is designed to allow students to conduct original archival and oral history research related to Montreal’s English-speaking Black community centred in Little Burgundy. Students are conducting extensive original research within the archival records of the Negro Community Centre (NCC) in partnership with the Concordia Library, Special Collections, and Union United Church.
